Decline bench
The bench is positioned to a drop of 15 to 30 degrees in a decline bench machine. When users push weights away from thier body at this angle, the upper torso is on a downhill slope, which engages the lower pectoral muscles. Decline bench presses can make the pecs seem more developed when used as part of a full chest workout. The lower pecs operate to lengthen the arm during the upward portion of a decline bench press.
